We make different sizes of cheese. The labels for smallest size is printed from outside source and other labels like for other sizes of cheese and boxes are printed inhouse. The only thing that is changed in label is the LOT # and Date of Manufacture and rest remains same like list of ingredients and NFT.  We only produce one kind  of Cheese in different sizes.

All the labels are verified on annual basis.

Cheese employees are responsible for printing the labels and applying the labels onto the products and boxes. But there is no daily verification activity going on.

The question is how can I monitor the activity of labelling as the same product of same VAT might be labelled, packed on different days.

Thank you

A) you need to verify traceability..............for if 1 vat goes into all of today's packaging (regardless of size) you need a VAT/LOT code check only and  record of how much/size was packaged from that VAT/LOT

B)You still need to verify that the in house and outsourced labels are printing/ed correctly, so when the outsourced labels come in, someone should look at them and make sure ingredients. est # etc etc are all correct

Printed in house, every time a role changes someone should make sure they are still ok......easy peasy
