Hello,

I need you to help me with your comments and experience in one case. I have to certify our our organic farm

Does anyone know what type of document is necessary, if anyone has the template please share?

Dear Parmeshwar,

There are probably organic standards in your country. You will need to obtain the standard to see what's necessary.

Furthermore, if you intend to export your products, these need to comply to the standards in the destination country.

Kind regards,

Dear Parmeshwar

If you are selling organic certified products I am assuming your manufacturing site is certified as organic?....

If this is so there will be a standard from your certification body that you are obliged to follow to ensure segregation between organic & non organic and to sell your products as organic.

The certifying body will provide a standard which will give you advice on what sort of pesticides are permitted (if any) & should be able to provide further advice on compliance.

Your responsibility will be to audit your suppliers and/or request that they have organic certification themselves which is regularly reviewed, as well as regular pesticide screening - conducted at an appropriate frequency.

As mentioned, not all standards are interchangable, so you may need also to apply for certification from another country. Usually organic certifying bodies can do this for you
