Hello,
I know ozone is used as one of many steps in my city's water treatment plant.
This is the city's confidence report that I have on file for SQF purposes.

Take a look at the confidence report I posted for the city of Milwaukee. The report states that the ozone is bubbled through the water to "purify" it from microorganisms.

Ozonated water? Yes, it can be used as a sanitizer. I have successfully used it in two processing facilities. The equipment, and the engineering is very important though. The systems currently installed run whenever the production facilities are in operation. if you go to pacific ozone, and look in the applications library under food, you will see some applications. Ozonated water can also be used as a sanitizer, and ozonated air can be used in freezers and refrigerators to prevent mold and bacterial growth. Ozone Sanitation in a Tomato Processing Plant is my project
