Cheers Simon!

Had what you would call a quiet night in!! :hypocrite:
Had the annual expense of having to buy half the cake aisle at Tescos for the office, then bought fish and chips in Cleethorpes on the way home, and ate them in the car watching the seagulls pester the tourists
Round to the parents for the ritual gift voucher and socks, then two bottles of Newcastle Brown in the garden before nodding off in front of the TV.
Not to worry - soon be christmas........ gift voucher, socks and after shave

Anyway, the wife got me a cake in the shape of a racing car this year! What a gal!! ;)

Cheers again Simon - see you over the hill!!

Manchester is quite big for a small island city with a population of about 400,000, if you take in Greater Manchester the population is about 3,000,000. Greater Manchester is a English County which a bit like a US States but without any power to make laws and execute people.

I knew Martin was a fellow Mancunian, but we haven't met as yet.

Or are you intimating a case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is afoot, with Martin as my alter ego? You can quickly discount that theory if you check back on our post history; you will find that Martin is much smarter than me. :smarty:

Dear Simon,
3 million and only 2 football teams. How can they lose (financially speaking)?

Jekyll & Hyde is a rousing gothic musical based on the classic tale of good and evil. Murder and chaos run rampant and evil lurks around every corner, but love and virtue put up a strong fight in this engaging thriller.
Sounds just like the food business. :x_biggrin:

There are two premiership teams in central Manchester (City and United), but very close by you have Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton and a whole host of other lower league teams. You're righ though both Manchester teams do have a massive following.
