Hi all,

i am now preparing a products which involved enzymatic processes, and acid (sulphuric acid) and base (sodium hydrooxide/ potassium hydroxide) are used to adjust pH of the semi-finish product to meet pH required by the enzyme.

In this case, can both of the enzyme and acid/base considered as processing aids and do not required to state in labels?Any on market examples for similar issue?

Thank you guys.

Hi mhstin,

It'd be useful to know where you're selling these products - different jurisdictions may have different requirements on labelling for additives/process aids.
