One possible alternative would be the products from Vikan and Remco. https://remcoproducts.com/.
Remco used to be just the exclusive distributor for Vikan in the US and Canada, but (if I remember right), Vikan recently purchased them outright. Anyway, that link has information about their products including the ability to download PDF catalogs. Remco has their own line, as well as repping for Vikan. I know in the US, they have people in the field that will make site visits, but am not sure about that in Canada.
Cost more, of course, but IMO, some of that cost is offset by a potential longer lifespan.
Hope this helps...
Good luck,
Todd

You can even go through Uline to get one ASAP....................you just need a broom with bonded bristles that will not shed and can be easily cleaned
Please stop referring to me as Sir/sirs

Are you using those "inside" the manufacturing area floor or just in the offices/admins and hallways?
Most companies uses brooms with plastic bristle. Easier to clean and they are colour coded too.

The brooms are for the manufacturing area.

Ditto on the Vikan. We are a small manufacturing company and have tried many different brands, bristles, etc.thinking that we should be able to find a USA made equivalent. We finally tried Vikan and have totally converted to Vikan. The staff really like them for their varied stiffness factors and durability for both the floor brooms and the kettle brushes. We even color coded. I hate sounding like a talking advertisement for Vikan as I have no relationship with them at all other than being a satisfied customer. They made our broom and brush issues go away. Now if only they could cleanup some of the other problems that come up:)

Thanks for the information. We will be getting the Vikan broom and use the colour code for the different departments.

I'd recommend RS Quality Products.
Been dealing with them for years. Sometimes bulky items incur outrageous shipping costs (and I don't buy them), but they do generic color coded products as well as the brands mentioned above.
