Hey, I am struggling a lot to finalize the layout of the changeroom.

In the existing scenario, We have a entry into the lcoker room which also has a washroom facility along with cross bench criteria.. But in one of the audit a question of washroom (toilet) wrong layout and procedure has been raise by the auditor..

Hence i need to rethink about the whole changeroom (locker room) for possibility of change as per the BRC standards..

What industry r u in? Best practice is to have the toilet as far from production entrance.

Our current layout in our plant is:

GMP Room 1 - Change of personal shoes to boots - with hand wash

GMP Room 2 - Hanging of personal clothing (Outside wear) -> Changing of clean uniforms, face mask, hairnet

GMP Room 3-  Foot Bath and Hand wash and Roller (Remove dust/foreign material from uniform)

Finally entrance to production. Our toilet is outside which means employees will need to fully change to enter the toilet.

Hey Nicholas,

We are in packaging industry that is working for food as pharma industry.

The toilets would be away from the production area.. But what about the toilets in the locker / changeroom..

Does it would be at the entry and then the lockers (GMP2) or both in the same room

There should be a changing procedure before entering the toilet, no production uniforms can be wore into the toilet including the boots, shoes etc.

Hi Varsha,

What is the wording of the non-conformance? Also please detail your current layout and procedure, this will help members better understand what you are doing currently and therefore what you may need to change
