Safe Limits of Natural Sulfites in Dehydrated Potatoes?

I can't seem to find safety limits for natural sulfites in potatoes for pets. I have seen many articles stating that 10ppm is when it should be labelled on your product stating it contains sulfits, but these articles are also specifically talking about human consumption and additives instead of natural. Does that matter?
