Well, that makes sense as to why I feel so confused. Have you ever challenged a finding before? Will the auditor hold it against me at our next audit? This was his first time at our facility and he seems very detail oriented.
Also challenge something that you know is wrong - best to get it out of the way before the auditor closes out on-site, however if not possible call the CB and send your challenge by email to them.
Auditors will NOT hold this against you - this business does not work this way.
I was an SQF Auditor - I had challenges, only a couple were errors on my part, but I appreciated the fact that the SQF Practitioners at the facilities were knowledgable about the code - so it was always a learning experience and let's face it, everybody makes errors, miss-calls, etc
