I have been on IFSQN for a little while but have never taken the time to say hello until now
My name is Stef, I am a QA Specialist working at a RTE facility making proteins, pasta, grains, vegetables and soups. Our products have shelf life from 28 - 80 days thanks to our high pressure processing machine.
I am incredibly interested in audits, systems and microbiology.
Recently I acquired an ATP luminometer and enjoyed watching one of the food safety Friday's where I got a lot of tips for building up my EMP.
In the next year we will be attempting to obtain HACCP certification which is in addition to our local authority license. This is keeping the HACCP team on their toes and definitely keeping me very, very busy.
