Recall product in Europe

Hello.  I had a question regarding product recall in Europe.  We manufacture a product that is exported to Europe.  We are recalling that product due to food additive not meeting EU regulation.  Our distributor/importer is handling the recall in Europe.  Do we have to inform FDA regarding this product that is being recalled in Europe?

Yes, notify your regional CSO. Additionally, GFSI benchmarks and many local authorities which issue licenses require notification.
