Is it normal to put desiccant in fish oil supplement bottles?

Hello,

 

I work for a Dietary Supplements Company; mainly manufacturing proteins. We are starting a project to do fish oil supplement. We will buy the capsules in bulk and do the bottling and labeling process in our facility. I have a question for those who may have experience with this process: is it a standard practice to put desiccant in the bottles?

 

I highly appreciate your feedback.

Are you using a HPMC capsule or gelatin

 

HPMC does not seem to clump or get stuck as gelatin does
