Hi guys!
What would be the least painful way to do that?
Any step by step guides?
Is it realistic in a small company, that 0.5 part employee maintains it after implementation?

Greetings Dohh,
For the realistic part the first question that needs to be answered is "Do you need it?". Meaning that certifications are in their core used as a "pass" that you comply with regulations and guidelines for safe food production. So unless some client (and realistically a client/s that will make the effort/cost of IFS worth it) has asked for it in order to continue collaboration, you don't really need it yet.
Also, this a much stricter standard than ISO, so you will need everyone to comply with it or at least have some knowledge on the off-production topics about it (depending how involved are they in the production).
The least painful way would be to hire a consultant to set you up. The least costly but painful, depending how familiar you are, would be to set it up yourselves. If you go for the 2nd option and have the budget, you could purchase the guide from the STORE in this site to ease it up.
Regards!

Thanks again! But what would you say, is IFS or BRC "kinder" to a small company? Or what does it depend on? My customer gave me choice of either of those.

Could not find the PM feature.
Anyway, my questions:
* Does usage of these documents as templates have any prerequisites? Or I can basically build on these from scratch?
* How many documents are in this package?
* Do these documents cover EVERY clause?
* How difficult it is to update, when for example IFS Food 8.0 comes out?
* Can I see one (any) document in full as an example? I just want to see, how adaptable it is to my company.
