Yes, every year: once a 3 year - re-certification audit, in between - surveillance audits. So, you may ask your supplier to provide an audit report for this year.

Hello,
It may seem a dumb question but since I don't know the answer here I go. Our company is SQF-Food Manufacturing certified. I've worked in BRC certified facilities as well but I have no experience on FSSC 22000. We are approving suppliers based on their 3rd party audits and certificates. Do companies with FSSC 22000 have audits on an annual basis or every 3 years? We have a supplier that has a FSSC 22000 certificate valid until 2023 but the audit report that we have is from 2020. I don't want to approve a supplier based on an audit from 2 years ago. Is there any type of review done on annual basis?
Thank you for your help!
