no there is not

 

MD for food work differently than those looking for large metal items

 

The food processing MDs have very powerful aperture's that can be set to find metal pieces as small as 2mm  imbedded in a solid food (like cheese, or lunch meat) or similar

 

depending on what you're trying to check for....there may be other options available to you

We actually have a deep scan, handheld, wand metal detector that can detect a piece of metal the size of a pin to a depth of 6-8". We have used it to find small metal items in our finished cases and it works quite well. I would not, however suggest using it for food products.
