I have a situation with multiple printers (some are left/some are right) and we use USB to update the printers.

 

We are finding the templates called "messages" are somehow being deleted.  I am told by the software company you cannot password protect the information, any user can select, hit delete and and remove.

 

Has anyone else been using this type of kwiklok?  If so, how are you ensuring the integrity of the templates and keeping data intact?

 

I may have to start a new procedure and each day refresh and upload the templates to ensure there is no packaging disruption.

It's been awhile since I worked with these.  Having said that, I can tell you we had a Quality check at start up that included confirming that the code, date and time were being printed correctly.  There were also two other times during the shift where this was checked.  Not sure if this helps.  There were only a small number of people who were shown and trained how to change the settings as well.
