How do you conduct risk assessment for SQF? How do you know risk assessment is needed it in which areas? Is there a template for risk assessment for SQF?

Thank You

i usually search the standard for the word "risk".   then evaluate what is needed.

SQFI has  a guidance doc that i believe has most of them.   https://www.sqfi.com...uisite-programs

There is a template, but SQFI seems to want to make everything more difficult and has removed or moved it.  Hopefully someone will have provide a copy.

The SQF code is freely available for download, just open up the pdf and [Ctrl]+[F] search for "risk" and "assess", you'll probably get them all.

The process is open to your interpretation for what format is appropriate, and it doesn't need to be the same for every assessment you do.  For example, my food fraud and food defense assessments are formatted very differently (through SSAFE online tools) than the one I use for basic food safety in the HACCP plan (a simple step-by-step list from the flowchart with a severity*likelyhood matrix).
