Hello!

I'm currently fielding some concerns with employees surrounding our company provided glove liners as they don't like the fit underneath their nitrile gloves, the mis-matching of sizes when they come back from our vendor, & etc.  They are wanting to wear their own personal gloves instead of using the provided glove liners.  Any feedback on if this would be permissible?  Has anyone had a similar challenge and if so what have you done?

Thanks!

NO!

How are you going to control the cleanliness of the gloves?   Are you prepared to hire someone just to inspect gloves as employees put them on?  No way

Switch providers or buy the thin disposable liners

See what the common denominator is for the liners that your employees want - go with most voted for if you can and then your company gets them, supplies them, controls them.

Sounds like a bad idea, you need to be in control with one standard type of glove. Don't let people bring their own as there will be a variety of types which would all need risk assessing and if they are taking them home then they are not captive to high risk and could be dirty/pick up FB's.

Maybe get the staff to try on some samples of different gloves before you select a type that suits most people.

The disposable type are good, i have seen them used in high risk factories before.

Unless the company is buying these disposable gloves, NO!

If gloves conforms the GHP & GMP standards of cleanliness then you can allow it.
