Hello,

May I know what is the average shelf life for frozen vacuum packed beef primals?

From my understanding, it is around 1 year.

Would you please send me some reliable sources so I can show my boss?

Your advice is much appreciated.

Thank you.

Canadian vacuum packed beef stored at -1.5°C has a storage life of 130 days or more.

https://www.beefrese...30 days or more.

Up to 24 months

For the record, when i buy a whole tenderloin (fresh) I keep that sucker in my 2nd fridge for at least 2 months to wet age, so theoretically, vac pac FROZEN would be indefinite for safety, but you will lose quality past 18-24 months (depending on freezer temp--the lower the better)
