We are a contract manufacturer of dietary supplements so have both regulatory body audits and customer audits....I am looking to build a KPI tracker for all of our audits to show executive leadership and give them a more inside look at our company's audit culture from quarter to quarter and year to year. Does anyone have a template they could share or any suggestions on how they track something like this?

You could just make a table with your company's target every quarter and a check mark if accomplished. For example, fewer than X materials on hold, less than Y customer complaints, Amount of rework to not exceed Z, etc.

Good luck!

Hi mtelander,

Why not keep an Excel log of your audits, the result/score and any NCs. You can track improvement in scores & reduction in NCs to show improvement.

Kind regards,

Tony

I report on a similar KPI for the handful of plants I'm involved with, and report it to the executive board.  I keep a basic excel file for the plants to send me their internal audits, which I record and graph monthly to show compliance.

Additionally, one of our FSO's for all the plants is to score better than 90% on all external/regulatory audits, so I also keep track of audit results the plants send me in another excel tab.  For measuring compliance, I'll mark in the exec and plant reports, "External audits were reviewed through [end of month], 2024, and all reported audits scored above 90%.  This FSO has been met to date."

The only real trick is to somehow document that you reviewed the audits.  However you declare it should be sufficient to show compliance.
