Any idea if this ingredient is safe in food product

Small berry from the Mountain Ash family of evergreens.

 

The extract is used as a non-gmo/natural preservative for food.

 

It is quite safe.

 

As a berry looks like a cranberry and for years they have been eaten for both nutritional value as well as medicinal value.

 

We will be using Rowanberry as a preservative in our new line of glass contained organic food products.

 

It's little known in food circles - but amoungst the best.

What are the possibility for cross contamination in introducing a vegan product to dairy plant?
