I know that's you're experience. Just sharing mine and it was a retailer that WOULD expect you to shut down. In fact there was an issue we had in one place with tiny pieces of damage occurring in a piece of equipment. We resolved it but even though they were picked up by the detector, we got a major on an audit for it.
To be fair, we then had impetus to fix the issue.
Sometimes people accept standards because they've not been forced to change them is my point. The retailer in the UK genuinely DOES hold you to this. Honestly.
