I am not advocating the promotion of our company's product which is a natural protein, but during the course of my discussion with one of the senior professors in the bio-technology department in a reputed University in India(where I had gone during my vacation) he was talking about the toxicity of other sugar substitutes like aspartame, sucralose, saccharin, cyclamates etc. Why are they not banned or withdrawn from market? Right in front of me I have a product called 'Equql' which I brought from India and it contains Aspartame as one of the ingredients?
Is it that slow 'poisoning' is permitted?

A Sankara Narayanan
