We started an ingredient and label receiving specialist this year - it's great. Faster release of materials, better verification of quantities received, proper internal labeling and overall better traceability.  But we have hundreds of different materials so it is well justified.

Simon,

Have you noticed any changes over time with the demographics that you would think are considerable?  Like a growth in a production area or involvement from a country that has grown over time?

Hi Brendan, the only significant change I can think off is Country of Origin.  India has grown significantly and is a clear third behind USA and UK.  I will run a google website analytics report and post it here for interest...and hopefully confirm my feeling.

Regards,

Simon

Excellent, That would be a cool read I think to see where food safety is starting to take off.  Maybe it might give us some ideas on forms to keep in our tool kits for when those questions invariably get asked from those countries as well.  Thanks!

In the attached you will see a comparison of website visitors and where they come from.  I was wrong India has not increased.

The main thing I notice is that in 2018 we have had a huge increase in visitors compared with the previous year.

That said you will notice in August 2018 we had a big fall and only in the last week has it started to recover (I’m mightily relieved about this).  I know exactly what caused the drop.  Some time ago google stated that all websites should go SSL and warned that if not executed by end July 2018 then they may penalize non-secure websites.  We were late and only implemented SSL end of August and so google spanked us, by dropping many of our pages from their search results. I’m pleased to say that we are back on the rise and hope to incrementally and fully recover over the coming weeks.  I’ll keep my eye on it.

Regards,
Simon

Hi,

I just purchased a SQF Implementation package, but I can not find where to down load it.

Is there a waiting time before one can down load that?

Duny

Hi rajeev1965,

Yes I do but is copyright protected and you shouldn't be asking people on the IFSQN forums for a copy.

You can purhcase a copy here: ISO - ISO 22000:2018 - Food safety management systems — Requirements for any organization in the food chain

Kind regards,

Tony
