Dear Simon,

Useful change IMO but "souh" needs minute adjustment. :smarty:

Rgds / Charles.C

added - no problemo - worked out how to do it

actually, I quite liked the "Near East" also but seems to hv these days been fully taken over by "Middle"

Kind Regards,

Dear Simon

IMO, "Central Asia" should be included in the list of country of origin as this region covers so many promninent countries. Please refer followoing:

"In modern context, Central Asia consists of the five former Soviet republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Other areas are often included such as Afghanistan, northeastern Iran and western parts of the People's Republic of China such as Xinjiang. Mongolia, Jammu and Kashmir of India, Northern Areas of Pakistan, southwestern and middle China such as Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu and Inner Mongolia, and southern parts of Siberia may also be included in Central Asia".

Also, as some members have raised this voice, I recommend to include job function "MR", "FSTL" and "System Coordinator". Atleast in Pakistan, these jobs are generally handled by person other than QA Manager. Former job functions normally look after overall system and QA Manager normally looks after technical issues related to quality of product and production processes.

Regards:
Zeeshan.

Hi Zeeshan,

I tried to accommodate your points as best as I could but I ran out of selections (15 max in a poll). I also took the opportunity at this time to do a little update with some charts (see below).

If anyone has still not completed the surey please do so as the data is very interesting and useful to us.

Dear Simon,

I think there is a mistake or repetition of category in country of origin.

"Central Asia" includes many countries including "India". Either category of Central Asia should not be there or India should considered to be eliminated.

IMHO, Central Asia should be retained as many visitors from this big region get confused while indicating their country of origin, just like me, who had no other option to select "Others". Probably the "Others" includes many Central Asians.

Dear Kitleen

I am JOJO.V.V working as a Hygiene Executive in Hotel Fidalgo-Goa, South-India. We are going to contact an ISO 22000:2005 audit on 26th and 27th of this month (JULY-2010). Before that I want to arrange the Documents and records in the Departments of Kitchen, Store and Purchase.

I have very little knowledge about the documentation and records based on ISO standard. Kindly help me or arrange the right way for the name list of Records and Documents.

Awaiting for your reply

Regards,
JOJO.V.VARGHESE

I'm the Quality Coordinator under the Quality Manager so I put "Food Safety Team Leader, M.R. or System Coordinator".  Seemed like my best choice.

Hopefully within 5 years I'll be a Quality Control/Assurance Manager.

It's good to get a demographic to see where the ranges of users lie.

Dear SevDre,

Based on many other comments on this forum, you obviously exclude "financial" within yr definition of "successful" ?

No that's generally a cost saving exercise although it works quite well when someone is responsible for both departments.

I put other for job role - not sure where vendor/materials specialist would fall. Seems this area in QA will continue to grow to ensure our vendors and materials are properly risk assessed and managed.

Hi Liberator, thanks for answering.  The poll was started 2008 (where did that go :eekout:).

I agree it is a miss and growing need especially with food fraud etc.
