In the USA, I have a meat plant with a listeria species presumptive positive in a sample taken from a food contact surface. The plant is sqf level 2. The USDA guidelines indicate enhanced sampling. Is there any requirement in the sqf code about reporting this to the certification body? Not so sure, any lights or people with similar experience?

Thanks!

I do not think you need to involve the CB in this.  They may ask at your audit, if you had any PP Listeria and then they will want to see documentation for how you handled it, but I do not think you need to inform them of this when it doesn't involve a recall scenerio.

My 2 cents...
