Does any one has a manual that he/she can share on maximum allowable microbial load  on food items.please share any info.

Caveat: 'Food Stuff' is more or less defined by local and state legislation, and not well codified globally. Ensure you are within regulation by first consulting your governing authority (whether it be local or foreign).

Hi Larry,

 

If you have the time, you might consider a little searching on this forum. There are several near-identical queries/threads  to yr own here with further references.

 

From memory, ICMSF Vol 5/6 are frequently referred reference books.

Plus there is a Canadian site which has a substantial collection.

 

It also may relate to whether you have a particular area of product interest.
