I was wondering if anyone had input on haccp development software and training. I am being audited for BRC and Global gap. I have three other members that are on my Haccp team. We need to update our training and I thought obtaining some software that could help polish our haccp plan would also help them in their training requirements. Does anyone have suggestions for good software, where we can just input our process and hazards and it splits out templates and SOP's. We currently have a plan but its very disorganized. We are currently certified in BRC and Global gap.

Hi HJD1272, Maybe you should take a look at the IFSQN solution BRC Food Safety and Quality Management Systemand perhaps discuss with Tony Connor.

Regards,
Simon

I'm quite surprised nobody uses food safety / HACCP software, maybe Bill Gates suite of software is all one needs. It's all I've ever used.

I agree with you, Simon. I am yet to meet a food manufacturer that utilises the food safety/quality software.

Granted though, I work alongside small manufacturers where the need for such software is zilch. To them, it is an unnecessary cost and as you say, thus far Microsoft products are doing us just fine.

Bring on Microsoft Excel!
