Hi Charice,

 

I presume you are referring to the laundering process for clothing.

 

afaik, there is/are no specific designated temperature requirement(s) in the Standard. There may be some suggestions in the Interpretation Guidelines

 

The various laundering/post-laundering requirements, notably, but not exclusively, for high risk/care items are given mainly  in Section 7. Particularly see 7.4.3..

Hello Charice,

 

We've been audited against BRC7 standard last June 2016. No specific requirements about temperature in washing and drying. We've got minor NC when auditor found staple wires used to fastened a plastic curtain inside laundry area.

Hi Redfox,

 

Just a comment. There are some industry standards/recommendations for minimum washing temperatures.
