Hello, new member here. I just started as a sanitation supervisor after 10 years of being sanitation lead. Last week I was approached with a task that I am struggling with just a bit and thought I would test the waters here to see if anyone had some ideas. Basically we have a company wide challenge for all supervisors to come up with a project in regards to new ways to, save cost, safety concerns or quality in general. I think the project can be directed in any which way with emphasis with cost saving. Honestly the hardest part for me is coming with something that doesn't cost a fortune. I mean because of course we all can come up with great expense driven ideas to improve old factories but I don't think that's what we are looking for here. If anyone has some simple ideas that they used in some other plant to improve things let me hear them. I was thinking of something like chemical control but a lot of the solutions for that require new equipment. Maybe something to do with ergonomics?
