Question about the SQF Code 8 vs. Code 7.2: in 7.2 for each module, there would be a document audit and a facility audit, but in the new version, there only appears to be one module? So, does this mean the facility audit module is incorporated/consolidated into the document audit?

Once you are certified initially, you will no longer have separate audits. You will simply be audited including time spent on the floor as well as document review.

If you are maintaining a level 3 certification there is now a quality audit that is separate from the FSC audit.  FSC and Quality audits can be scheduled consecutively.

SQF Code Edition 8.1 Changes Released

 

Edition 8.0 Audits will continue to be in effect until September 01, 2019.

From September 02 on, audits will be conducted under the SQF Code, Edition 8.1.

Hi.  I'm currently took over SQF position at my current job this is my first year.  I have a question if anyone can kindly help me.  Currently we are a Produce Storage and distribution Food sector category 4 and 26 involve module 2, 10 and 12.   Our module 12 is a mirror to module 10.  With this upcoming year we will be adding  produce processing, I will update out SQF Food Safety Code to Manufacture, we will be adding sector category 14 involve module 11.  Module 11 mirror a lot of module 10.  Do i mirror module 12 and 10 to 11?  Any information will help.  Thank you!
