Antonio Gilges : Will testing od the MDs every 4-8 or even 12 hours be acceptable by the CB-SQF?
Antonio, testing of metal detector
every 4 hrs may not be an issue but the point is how much product you want to put on hold in case metal detector
does not work while testing
Chillida M.L. : Hi from Spain
christian : Can we please get a copy of these slides. Thanks
Simon Timperley : slide deck and recording emailed later

How many have a lock box on their metal detector
alyssa : Metal detectors or other physical contaminant detection technologies shall be routinely monitored, validated and verified for operational effectiveness. The equipment shall be designed to isolate defective product and indicate when it is rejected. SQF 220.127.116.11 Detection of Foreign Objects
Senoussi Coulibaly : what is the minimum % of the waste acceptable
Yusuf Lubega : Great presentation. We use Mettler Toldeo for our annual calibration of metal detectors. Great company.
Constantine : Thanks a lot!
Esperanza : It's true.we should analyse data
Frank Aguirre : Is it ok to set the test sphere on top of the item or should it be within?
Juan Alberto : Foreign Material Systems and the relationship. Are those systems helps us with the OEE indicator?
Most difficult place for the metal detector
to read is at the geometric center of the apature
Iryna Dyachenko : we lock our MD boxes as a part of the food defense requirements
Jimmy : In my experience the supermarkets have requirements on when and how you carryout metal tests
I recently investigated a customer complaint concerning product contamination with hard glass. I found out that the pieces of glass which the customer claimed were found in the product could be detected by our metal detectors. All control measures including metal detector
tests were taken during the production. How would you handle such a complaint?
Iryna Dyachenko : What OEE stands for?
Mwenda : OEE stand for Overall equipment effectiveness.
Sarwat Mohiuddin : OEE means Operational Equipment Effectiveness
Mwenda : OEE is a multiplier of three
Jessica Horne : OEE means Overall Equipment Efficiency
Antonio Gilges : We have itmes containing up to 30% by weight of salt and have difficulties adjusting the MD, any idea how can we improve this? have multiple rejects due to salt contens in product
Wrayanne Cruz : can we get a copy of your presentation?
Is reducing metal detector
testing frequency to increase productivity not loophole in monitoring the production process?
Simon Timperley : OEE = Overall Equipment Effectiveness
Patricia : No sound or video
Jamie : I refreshed my page and got it back
Simon Timperley : yes Wrayanne we will send it by email later
