I have attached an example SOP and sample chart for FFVAs! Retrieved off of Primus Labs :)
Hi nles,
Appreciate yr attachments.
afai can tell (was unable to find a specific definition), Primus interpret food fraud via -
There should be a vulnerability assessment and comprehensive protection plan for all types of food fraud. This includes economically motivated hazards, economically motivated food safety hazards, adulterant substances, theft, tampering, simulation, diversion or gray market, intellectual property rights and counterfeiting.
Kudos to Primus for attempting a meaningful example of a VA but IMO it unfortunately lacks clarity, eg -
No example of use of the VA matrix, eg "Consequences" is presumably interpreted via any/all of the above-listed possibilities ??? But safety is not mentioned anywhere on the applicable Form ???
Similarly the "Consequence" requirements are solely stated in text as per the single paragraph, 1.11 -
Indicate the consequences of the identified vulnerability or risk (high, medium or low), in column 5
Based on What ??
Seems to me Primus should have produced one more Form illustrating filling in "Consequences" + Use of the Matrix (for every question on the Form ???).
It looks like auditors have sort of accepted that this topic is a conceptual Mess such that any "reasonable" solutions are OK.
Also see this 2018 thread which includes a few Primus experiences -
