Hello, my name is Peter Hillman.

I work as a maintenance technician in a small food packing business. It's the best job I've ever had, worked for many years in a plastics plant breathing PVC compounds. After that went on to mechanic on industrial carpet cleaning machines. Sometimes I would feel a burning sensation on my leg, arm "oh that's just the chemicals"! The PH ranged from 2-12 on some of that stuff, and the machines themselves were always filthy. So happy to be surrounded with sanitized stainless steel and basically harmless chemicals in compare. By the way, we're an organic packer, SQF-8.0 so even better! Some of the stuff they call "super food" is just plain nasty, not for me, but I do enjoy the coconut oil.

I've got my HACCP and Food safety principles certificates. What's bad about that? Now everywhere I go I see people doing things wrong.
