Our company just received its certificate for the BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Components.  A big thank you to the members of this forum for all of the questions & posts - it helped a lot!  Taking time out of your busy days to post can really help those of us who are starting out on this Food Safety journey.

As I like to say in Quality - never a dull moment!

Now it's time to breathe a little! With the changes to packaging manufacturers the last few years it's been a little weird for us too (SQF Manufacture of Food Packaging). Take any suggestions and non-conformances to heart and really focus on them. Also, really build your SQF team and empower them to scrutinize your system. Once the initial flood of issues were addressed we were only handling a couple of really minor things each month. Also, never underestimate the power of the "At a boy!" I take every possible opportunity to assign responsibility for success to the team and the people that have their hands on the tasks being performed. That being said, YOU DID IT!!! :ejut:
