We currently only have one production line.  We plan on not producing on that line for a few weeks.  Is it necessary to still continue doing our weekly EM in that Zone if we are not producing, batching, etc?

Any feedback is welcome.

I have some lines down two and have adjusted the zones to reflect the current process. There's no point swabbing a disused line for food contact swabbing if it isn't food contact for a period.

Agree with Zanorias. There is no necessity to swab if there was no risk for contamination on that line due to no usage. Unless, there was a risk?

You can discontinue EM  - just tag it off, snap a photo and do a document on it to avoid any issues come audit time.
