Trying to wrap my head around how this might play in to the SQF code - so here's the scenario:
Our production facilities produce finished products exclusively for use at our own retail locations, both foodservice and retail items. Our marketing team wants to use an item produced in our bakery (typically made and packaged for retail sale) as part of a collaboration with a brewery to produce a beer with our company name/branding on it. So where we typically only produce products where we are the customer, in this case we would be producing a 'raw material' to send to this brewery, which would then use it to make a product with our name/branding on it. Just trying to figure out if/how this would play into the SQF code specifically. Naturally we'll be adjusting our food safety plans accordingly to reflect the alternate use for the item.
Appreciate any guidance in advance, we're trying to get ahead of this one.
