Hi guys,

 

I have an up coming SQF audit, and just wanted to make sure I have everything in place for the audit. Can you guys tell me what you have put in place since COVID-19, so I can compare.

Hey, we just completed an SQF audit about two weeks ago! We've taken a lot of steps to reduce the likelihood of COVID transmission in our facility, including implementation of enhanced cleaning schedules for high-touch surfaces, adding additional sanitizing stations throughout the facility, mandating masks for employees and visitors, and installing air purifiers with HEPA filters wherever practical. Your experience may vary, but our auditor wasn't particularly interested in any of this - we spent maybe ten minutes total talking about our COVID response.

As a person who wears both Quality and Health, Safety and Environmental hats, your covid response should be proportionate to your risk factors. Where you are, But a list of things we implemented,  obviously increased sanitation of communal areas, llike lunch rooms and washrooms, a risk assessment for those people who have to work in 'close contact' reducing the # of people in the lunch room, requiring lunch tables to be santized after use. Requiring all visitors to complete questionnaire, and restricting unnecessary visitors completely. Enhanced WFH for office staff. increased Teams meetings vs in person, even when everyone is in the same location. limit # people allowed to attend in face meetings in meetings room.

Protocols on what to do when/if someone tests positive or has interactions with a positive person, communicating with all employees when situations/rules change, . We were recently audited for our covid-19 prep by our Regional H/Q remotely and received 100% compliance which was gratifying for all the hard work we had implemented
