We are going to make a new product for an existing customer. The new line is being commissioned and part of that is a questionnaire regarding Product Safety & Hygiene (PS&H)
This document is an audit type doc and goes thro a stringent check of the process, the people and the facilities. It asks if PS&H Procedures are documented and maintained but no where on the documnet does it refer to Quality.
Would our quality procedures be acceptable as PS&H procedures or do we need specific procedures for product safety. If we can use our quality procedures what would we need to include to satisfy Product Safety.
We are ISO 9001:2000, ISO14001 OHSAS18001 and BRC/IOP accredited

I've not heard of a PS & H questionnaire, although I imagine having the above systems in place you have everything covered in terms of procedures. Does the questionnaire go into detail or does it just ask if "PS&H Procedures are documented and maintained." Also confirm is the new product food packaging?
