Hi!

 

Can multiple sifters (different process steps under 1 HACCP study i.e. step 11- Sifting, Step 14, Aspirator (with sifter), Step 33 Sifting) be all OPRPs? Or is it most likely to only identify as OPRP the last sifting step? Thanks for the reply.

Hi Joanne,

 

(1) It all depends on the hazard analysis.

(2) It all depends on justification of a significant hazard at specific step.

(3) It all depends on the, for example, particular tree used to differentiate CCPs/OPRPs

 

For example,

(a) a combined CCP/OPRP

(b) CCP/OPRP at final sifter from a "conventional" interpretation.

(c) et al

.
