Hi,
Anyone got some good ideas about how to clean in a warehouse freezer? We are getting dusty.

Hi AJL,

do you mean cold storage unit (eg ca -18degC) or chiller (eg ca +2degC)  or air blast freezer (eg ca -30degC) or ?

If a cold storage  do you literally mean dusty ? eg walkways or ?

Kind Regards,

Warehouse frozen storage. Yes I literally mean dusty. We sweep regularly but when the fans are running it doesn't stay put ☺️
Is there a cleaning chemical for wet cleaning at this temperature.

Hi AJL,

Afaik fans should usually only run intermittently assuming no major air leakages/unfrozen Product inputs, especially at night. That's when IMEX sweeping is carried out.

Some Cold Stores I have inspected could also function as skating rinks.

However various commercial chemicals do exist - try googling  <<< chemicals for cleaning frozen food cold stores>>>>

Kind Regards,

Hi AJL,

The best solution would be to periodically remove all product, defrost and clean.

If that isn’t viable then maybe try something like this:

Kind regards,
