Hello,

Are there any suggestions for which GMPs to follow for a precision fermentation process that occurs with aseptic inoculation into an enclosed fermentation tank? The remainder of the production process occurs in an enclosed system of tanks and pipes and ends with a dryer. The only exposure is post-drying when we are hand weighing and packing the dried powder in a vented hood into its primary packaging.

Hand washing and glove wearing is a must and operators have uniforms, but not sure if hairnets or bread nets in this application is overkill.

Thanks!

Hi FSQA_Stephanie,

Welcome to the IFSQN forums.

You have posted in the SQF Packaging forums. Did you mean to post in SQF Food?

It might help if you post about the product, what is this powder and what will the customer do with it?

Kind regards,

Tony
