Hi,

What are the documents needed for the raw materials besides the ingredient specification document? And for packaging materials, is FDA-approved certification enough to prove the compliance with the SQF code or do we require more documents? And if we do require other documents what are those?

Hi PPPP,

 

From suppliers there will also be COAs, COCs and Chemical Migration Certificates for Packaging.

 

There should be supplier approval records for items purchased.

 

There may also be your own validation/verification checks on incoming goods.

Material Safety Data Sheet is also required.
