What do people think about bac piecing close to the neck.

 

It seems expensive albeit i have no idea what is is -

PS - this thread dates back to 2006 ! Obviously of enduring fascination.

Honestly, we just banned them totally aside from plain wedding bands covered by gloves and strapped watches. It became too much to say which piercings were okay, monitoring necklaces, bracelets, etc,. So we banned everything totally. Much easier and less headache.

Looking at our GMP's, we do not allow any visible piercings for anyone working on the production floor.  If we can not visually see it we can not call the person out.   We do allow wedding band with no jewels, and medical bracelets.     All necklaces are out no matter what sentimental or religous value they may have.    

 

Other items that are not allowed no false eyelashes, nails or nail polish, no head bands and no excessive perfume or body odor (this of course is a very sensitive item when having to approach an employee).   The more hazards you can eliminate introducing the fewer SOP you will have to put in place to control these hazards.   We are far from perfect but we will never stop trying to acheive it.
