Taking into account the "sero-dynamics" shown by the Salmonella species, it is always evolving in nature ( though there are limits to how much we type/detect). No other bacteria has ever shown this much nightmare in the pan food world ( An hasty generalization!).
Though there are some novel rapid detection methods (which is expensive), none are perfect or reliable in giving results to match Today's fast pacing momentum in the food business.
So, Salmonella is still the rowdy in the Town.
