Currently we have the company certified in BRC, however we also export to USA, where we use Plan Builder for food defense analysis, however I am thinking of using a more updated tool, does anyone use a tool that can be used in excel. would have any inconvenience with FDA, not using plan builder?

The FDA would not have an issue if you did not use the plan builder. There is no standardized format. Feel free to use excel!
