Mushrooms,

I am not sure what you are asking for. We use GMP audits to verify that all employees are following our guidelines. Once a shift a QA member walks through, just observing people working on the floor. If anyone needs reminders, they document if for follow up.

What products are you producing? I would look at your GMP SOP and ask questions based upon what you require employees follow

The questions I ask - on a form that contains multiple items so not just a GMP form. Also relevant to our GMP policy states/employees need to follow.

Personnel hygiene is assessed a few different ways.

We include observations of GMP compliance in our operational sanitation inspections performed three times per shift for all production areas, and in a couple of specific areas where gloves or garments are more likely to be damaged or soiled we have a second inspector doing checks between breaks.

We have some operational micro testing of frocks and gloves, as well as hands after handwashing, to verify and validate cleaning and training programs.

Hi Mushrooms,

The template will be dependent on your own Hygiene Policy and Procedures. I’ve listed typical items below.

Personal cleanliness

Suitable clean company issued and laundered protective clothing

Suitable clean head and beard covering (where appropriate), and footwear.

Requirement for hands to be clean with clean short nails and adequate hand washing at defined steps e.g.:

-       at the start of food handling activities;

-       when returning to work after breaks;

-       immediately after using the toilet; and

-       after handling any contaminated material, such as waste or raw and unprocessed foods

-       after handling any wash down hoses

Control of gloves and other types of PPE

Personal behaviour

Control/Prohibition of smoking or vaping;

Prohibition of spitting;

Management of chewing, eating, or drinking to designated areas;

Prevention of activities that could cause contamination to occur such as touching the mouth, nose, or other places of possible contamination; and sneezing or coughing over unprotected food.

Control of personal effects such as jewellery, watches, pins, or other items

Prohibition of false nails/ eye lashes

Prohibition of aftershave/perfume

Other areas

Reporting of illnesses

Prohibiting personnel known or suspected to be ill or carrying a disease likely to be transmitted through food

Control of personnel with cuts and wounds

Control and screening of visitors, including maintenance workers

Training of personnel

Kind regards,

Tony
