Tips for preventing recalls due to undeclared allergens

Took Place:
Friday, March 01, 2024

Presenter:
David Rosenblatt, Head of Learning and Academic Services, Sher Consulting & Training

Webinar Overview:
Did you know that over one third of the recall incidents in the food industry are due to undeclared ingredients on the package? Not only do companies pay a dear price in money and reputation following such incidents, but they also expose consumers to a life-threatening situation. Labelling “may contain” is becoming less and less acceptable, and for good reason. Food allergy sufferers have the right to enjoy food as much as anyone else. In this short webinar we will discuss some useful tips to mitigate this threat by understanding the role of our risk assessment in prevention.
