It says alot without saying anything

they're covering their legal asses with the language choice, but it's a slap in the face to the families of those who've died.

the word "concern" is wildly inappropriate

And it's NOT early stages   this has been ongoing since June

Pretty standard response from a company.   Boar's Head was similar...

Not that I disagree in the least that it's heartless...   But they obviously can't come out and say what a human being would want them to say, for legal reasons, as you stated already.

NO ONE testing actual eggs for salmonella   It's 100% environmental testing so the statement

"none of our eggs tested positive" rings pretty hollow to me

Saw this in a google:

"Yes, the FDA requires most shell egg producers to test for Salmonella. The FDA's "Shell Egg Rule" mandates that egg producers with 50,000 or more hens conduct environmental and egg testing for Salmonella enteritidis. Eggs that test positive must be diverted from the marketplace.

Testing: Producers must perform regular testing of the hen house environment and the eggs themselves for Salmonella."

We use powdered egg only, but every lot is tested...
