Free Webinar: Prerequisite Programmes for Food Safety

Food Safety Essentials is a free monthly webinar where members can participate in an interactive question-and-answer session on food safety management. Each session includes a concise presentation on a specific food safety topic, followed by an open Q&A discussion.

This month we have a short presentation on 'Prerequisite Programmes for Food Safety’. We will discuss the fundamental PRPs and Good Manufacturing Practices that should be included in Food Safety Management Systems as per the requirements of GFSI benchmarked certification schemes.

We will also present an overview of the changes in the new ISO 22002 prerequisite programme standards for food manufacturers, ISO 22002-1:2025 PRPs for Food manufacturing and ISO 22002-100:2025 Common PRP requirements for food, feed and packaging supply chain, which will be included in the FSSC 22000 Certification Scheme Version 7. After the presentation we will have a general food safety Q&A session.
